ABOUT ME!

Hi! I'm a freelance designer with a passion for graphic design and creativity. Since 2022, I've been exploring the world of design through tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Blender. I love bringing ideas to life, whether it’s posters, logos, brand identities, 3D models, or even games. I'm always excited to learn, grow, and find new ways to make visuals that stand out.

For this project, I was tasked with redesigning the restaurant’s website and menu from scratch. I adjusted the look to a clean, modern style to better fit the new logo. I began by choosing Wix as the website builder because of its simple user interface and ease of access. Since I had used Wix before, I already had experience with the platform. I started by selecting a color palette and fonts, as these would dictate the theme of the site. I used a color-picker tool on the logo itself, which the client already favored. Since the old website used GloriaFood for customer orders and reservations, I learned how to embed the service and write HTML code to ensure the interface matched the rest of the website.

A teacher commissioned me for this project to change their son’s jersey to another college’s logo for a commitment poster. I used Photoshop to edit the photo, then moved it to Canva to design the poster. This was an exciting project for me because it was my first in-person commission, rather than my usual online work.

This was my submission for the 2024 KTK Recipe Book Contest. I ended up placing as an Honorable mention and earned us funds for the news class. I used illustrator to make the graphics and art then pulled it into InDesign to add the text and to assemble the finished piece in.

I placed superior in the newspaper design contest at the 2024 Fall Fiesta, the highest honor awarded. It was my first time attending a convention and creating a design for a live, on-site competition. The hardest part was starting. Finding inspiration, selecting colors and building a readable layout is a struggle on a one-hour deadline. However, once I had the vision, everything else fit together like a puzzle.

Making games on the side is one of my favorite hobbies. I especially enjoy taking part in game jams. They’re these fast-paced contests where you have just a few days to create a game around a specific theme. It’s such a fun challenge, and I love the mix of brainstorming, making art, and bringing it all to life with code. There’s nothing quite like seeing an idea turn into something you can actually play and interact with. it’s super rewarding and always keeps me excited to create more.
